Sia Kate Isobelle Furler is an Australian singer-songwriter, music video director and record producer famous for her studio albums ‘1000 Forms of Fear’ and ‘This Is Acting’. She made her debut with the local Adelaide acid jazz band ‘Crisp’ as a vocalist in the mid-90s. After her first studio album ‘OnlySee’, she expands her music career collaborating with bands ‘Zero 7’ and ‘Jamiroquai’ as a vocalist.
She came up with her second studio album, ‘Healing Is Difficult’ signing agreement with Dance Pool. She signed with ‘Go! Beat’ to release her third album ‘Colour the Small One’. She retired as a recording artist and delved on writing songs for others after releasing two more albums namely ‘We Are Born’ and ‘Some People Have Real Problems’. She wrote songs for artists like Rihanna, David Guetta, and Flo Rida.

The song ‘Cheap Thrills’ from ‘This Is Acting’ quickly reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She also featured in some movies and TV series like Annie’ (2014), Transparent (2015) and ‘Beat Bugs’ (2016). She performed in movies like ‘Charming’, ‘My Little Pony: The Movie’ and ‘Sister’. She is a vegan and is an active supporter of animal welfare causes.
