She came to the world on 21st August in 1984 in Ajaccio, France. During her early life, she indulged herself in dancing and became proficient in it. In 1999, she became a part of the TV talent show Grains de Star and won it.

In 2000 she first introduces her first album with collaborating with Farmer and Boutonnat who discovered her in the talent show. Her first album was a great success. In 2003 she came with her second album Mes Courants Electriques. Her other albums Psychedelics, Une Enfant de siècle, 5, Blonde has been released in the following years. It is said that she is one of the best-selling female French artists of the 21st century. She has the 31st bestselling single in the history of France.

In spite of being a very shy and reserved person, she loves to perform in front of her audience. In 2003, she got married to French singer Jeremy Chatelain but they called it off in 2012. They have a daughter named Annily. In 2016 she married to Gregoire Lyonnet with whom she is expecting her second child.

Alizee has filled her bag with so many awards throughout her career including Buzz Land Award, M6 Awards, MTV Latin America Awards, NRJ Awards, World Music Awards and many more.
